Professional Qualifications: I trained as a psychodynamic therapist at Manor House Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy.* I then continued my training with Place2be and qualified as a child counsellor. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and am governed by their code of conduct and ethical framework.
Areas of Specialism: I have experience of working with a wide range of clients, exploring anger, anxiety and depression. I am particularly interested in working with life's transitions including adolescence, miscarriage, childbirth, adoption, redundancy, long-term illness and menopause. I have had long-term experience of working with new parents particularly with relationship difficulties and postnatal depression.
When I'm not seeing clients privately, I work for mental health charity Mind, as part of a Barnet young people's counselling service and offering postnatal support on behalf of the NCT.
